We’re happy you found us! We’ve been waiting to tell you our story and to show you what Pilgrim Congregational Church has to offer.
Pilgrim Congregational Church, United Church of Christ identifies as a multiracial and multicultural church. This commitment shows itself in all aspects of church life; from worship, Christian education, social action, and fellowship groups. When we look around, we see a diverse faith community. We see young people, more mature people, and those who are in between. We see people of differing abilities and people with a range of ethnic and racial backgrounds. We see those who are single, coupled, those with children and those without. We see those who are cisgender and transgender. We see those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning. We see much of God’s holy creation of the human spirit right here at Pilgrim, and we celebrate that diversity.
Whether we work to protect and preserve God’s creation through the efforts of our Green Team; support the rights of all sexual and gender identities through the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Allies group; explore racial differences and stereotypes through Sacred Conversations on Race; experience different expressions of faith in worship; or learn through our educational programs for adults, youth, and children, we are committed to radical welcome and inclusivity.
We invite others to join us on this journey of faith and action. We are all stronger and more faithful together.
