Pilgrim Fall Fest and Trunk or Treat!

In partnership with our preschool, we are once again hosting our Fall Fest and Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 26, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.

Snacks, hot dogs, and drinks will be available for purchase. And of course, lots of free kids’ activities will be provided! All are welcome to join us!

Estate Planning for Peace of Mind — Monday, Nov 3, 7:00 PM

The Chicago Estate Planning Council is presenting a free public seminar entitled Estate Planning for Peace of Mind at Pilgrim Church on Monday, November 3, at 7 p.m.  You and all members of the wider community are welcome to attend.  Topics covered include Wills, Trusts, Health Care Powers of Attorney, Property Powers of Attorney, and beneficiary designations.  The presentation is designed to help people know what questions to ask their advisors and to highlight important issues to consider in the estate planning process.  The 60-minute presentation includes a question-and-answer session with the speakers.  (Seminar presenters are volunteer members of the Chicago Estate Planning Council and do not solicit business from attendees.)

The benefits of a generous life are demonstrative, verifiable and authentic. At the end of the day we seem to be hard-wired to give. That’s the way God created us. God, the original giver, the one who held nothing back invites us to participate in the joy of giving.
