Next Hour: Ministry Impact: Criminal Justice
Jazmine Walker, from Live Free Illinois West Congressional District will offer a brief presentation on clearance rates* and their impact on public safety and community trust, followed by Q&A and discussion.

Live Free’s goal is to help spread awareness and understanding of what clearance rates are, how they are calculated, and why they are important when evaluating responses to crime and violence. We believe this information can help community members engage in informed conversations about public safety and accountability.

*Clearance rate is the percentage of reported crimes/ cases that law enforcement or courts have successfully solved or closed during a specific time period.
