Description: Throughout the Winter and Spring we have discussed the "State of the Church", exploring the differences, evolution, and (somewhat bleak) future of institutional Christianity around the world. Last time, we focused on our own denomination's statistics - recognizing how the national decline in church attendance has affected, but also has been resisted by, the UCC. In this CAPSTONE session we look to inventory the hopeful story going on here at Pilgrim Oak Park! We will look at our many accomplishments that make up our LEGACY and how that can serve as a FOUNDATION for the future. As a part of that evolution, we may take a peek into ideas of adult learning going forward.
