DESCRIPTION: This presentation will look at the American Church experience – declining church attendance and widespread rejection of Christianity by a public disillusioned by the “Christian Nationalism” movement. Many folks are leaving those churches, spiritually wounded and untethered by doctrines of exclusion or hate. How does the progressive church (and Pilgrim specifically) offer “Sanctuary" and "Shalom” without diluting our own values and beliefs?
