Friday Bible Study

TOPIC: Book of Deuteronomy Part 1
PRESENTER: Rev. Gloria Cox
DESCRIPTION: What does it mean to be God's people — not just in theory, but as we stand at the threshold of something new? That's the question Moses poses to Israel in the opening chapters of Deuteronomy, and it's the question we'll explore together this Fall.

Part 1 of our study, “Remembering Who We Are”, runs six sessions, August 7 through September 18. we will not meet on Friday, September 4. We will focus on Deuteronomy 1–11. This is the great "sermon" in which Moses calls the people to remember who they are and whose they are before crossing into the Promised Land.

No prior Bible study experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to wrestle with an ancient text that speaks with surprising urgency to our present times. All are welcome. Please contact Gloria directly for exact dates and email notifications (including Zoom link), or for more information at: revgcox@gmail.com
