Adult Education: Our Journey with Grief

Adult Education at Pilgrim is a wonderful resource and sustenance for anyone on a faith journey. Meeting in the chapel at 9:45 am Sunday mornings from September to May, it is a time for adults to come together and gather strength for the journey, from God and from each other.

Grief is the normal and natural emotional reaction to loss or change of any kind. Of itself, grief is neither a pathological condition nor a personality disorder. Grief is a healing process that can be transformative.

Everyone experiences grief. Here at Pilgrim we have had many losses and changes in the past year. Individually, many of us have lost parents, siblings and other family members. On this All Saints Day Sunday the Deacons will spend a bit of time talking together about grief and how we find support and encouragement through each of our own journeys with grief.
