Get Your Body Moving with a Nia Class at Pilgrim

As a follow-up to our Mind-Body-Spirit event in January we’re hosting a 4-class Nia@Pilgrim series!

Nia (pronounced “NEE-ah”) is a non-impact, barefoot, sensory-based, cardio movement practice. All ages and all abilities are welcome to relax, stretch, tone and smile through Nia’s easy-to-follow movements set to great music. Our instructor, Andrea Edwards, has been practicing Nia since 2004 and has been a certified instructor since 2009. She also has a background in Iyengar yoga and dance.

The 4 classes will be on Saturday, Feb. 9, Feb 16, Mar. 2 and Mar. 9 from 2 pm to 3 pm in the Pilgrim Memorial Chapel. Dress comfortably, bring a mat or beach blanket and your personal water bottle. Cost is $35 for the full series and must be paid before class starts, no refunds. This is an ADULTS ONLY CLASS, age 18 and up. No childcare provided.
