The Angle of Hope
Despite his concerns about social inequalities that filter into the faith community, James’s writer is full of hope. Indeed, he provides a road map that begins with finding joy in many trials and tracks how our fears and anxieties become fertile ground for hope. For James, hope is much more than a feeling; it’s something we do together. When our common beliefs are founded on hope, uncommon strength, joy, and anticipation become markers of how we do life together.
NOTE: This and next week’s study will be held via video on the Gather Facebook page.
