Unsatisfied, Unselfish, and Unsophisticated—Yet Happy
In the Beatitudes, Jesus tells us there are folks whose cravings for justice can never be satisfied. Others are selfless in their compulsion to be merciful. Still others manage to safeguard their innocence despite corruption that surrounds them. In each case, Jesus says such perceived deficiencies are actually core strengths that yield remarkably fulfilling rewards.
