After Jesus uses his model prayer to establish the divine order of things and where we fit in God’s vision for our world and lives, he teaches us to pray for salvation in trying times. Effectively, then, the Lord’s Prayer concludes with a necessary admission: we can’t do any of this without God’s help.
How does that kind of dependency inform the ways we live? What kinds of help do we need to confess we can’t go it alone? We end our study of the Lord’s Prayer with a look at what “save us in the time of trial” means today.
