Adult Education at Pilgrim is a wonderful resource and sustenance for anyone on a faith journey. Meeting in the chapel at 9:45 am Sunday mornings from September to May, it is a time for adults to come together and gather strength for the journey, from God and from each other.
Every season of adult education has a theme. Over the next two weeks we will leverage UCC General Minister and President John Dorhauer’s book, “Beyond Resistance” to engage in a discussion of what it means to “Be the Church” in a culture that seems divided largely between those who understand Christianity only in a literalist, fundamentalist, skewed way and those who have no interest whatsoever in organized religion. Rev. Gloria Cox will host these two sessions.
