Sunday Worship: Recognizing Juneteenth & Father's Day

At worship we celebrate our relationship with God, we strengthen our relationship with each other, and we explore what it means to "do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with our God".

Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day or Freedom Day, is an American holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas, and more generally the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans throughout the former Confederacy of the southern United States.

Our focus scripture is John 16:12:15. Rev. Michelle Hughes will be leading worship and preaching. And we will be blessed by a horn concerto Gabe Krauter. Please join us for this special celebration..
