What happens on the outside of us determines what goes on inside of us. That’s why Pilgrim worship offers ways to bring worship inside your spirit and your mind. Times of silence, outstanding music, varieties of prayer forms, art and (yes) movement lead us to the place within where the sacred lives. A diverse congregation needs diversity in worship. Traditional, modern, global and children’s prayers and music are heard at Pilgrim. The Chancel Choir lead us. Our Senior Pastor’s sermons are sometimes dramatic, usually straightforward and always engaging as we challenge ancient texts to provide wisdom to contemporary listeners.
Pilgrim welcomes children and respects their God-given sense of play and of what is divine. Care for infants and very small children is provided during worship. A “Time with Children” is offered every Sunday, followed by “Children’s Church” in our Chapel. There children enjoy theme-based crafts and play while older children and adults continue worship in the Sanctuary. more »
Accessibility is hospitality. Pilgrim has a lift for those with mobility issues, large print bulletins and hearing enhancement devices. (We’re working to make ASL available by request.) On Communion Sundays, a gluten-free alternative to bread is provided.
Who wouldn’t feel welcome at Pilgrim! Come and worship!
